My Mortgage & Protection Experts (MMPE) Referral Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between MMPE, existing MMPE clients and Referred Friends (referee) concerning the MMPE Referral Program. To participate, existing MMPE clients and the referee must agree to these Referral Terms, which become part of the MMPE Ltd Terms.

1. Definitions

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions will be used.

Referral Code means the unique code provided to each existing MMPE Client. The code is to be used by the referee to facilitate the tracking and confirmation of new business referrals and reward vouchers.

New Business means mortgages, or life assurance applications. Only 1 referral voucher is awarded for each referred household.

Existing MMPE Client (Advocate) means the person who sends the referral code. You must be over the age of 18 and a resident within the UK.

Referred Friend (Referee) means the person who receives the Referral Code. A Referred Friend is any person above the age of 18 and a resident within the UK.

Referral Terms means these Terms and Conditions, including updates, alterations and possible appendices, published on the MMPE website.

We (“our”, “us”, “MMPE”) means My Mortgage & protection Experts Ltd, registered in the UK. Registered address, 71- 75 Shelton St, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9FE, limited company number 1216 5909.

Customer Portal means our secure online client portal where you can review the progress of referred friends. URL – https://clients.mymortgageprotectionexperts.co.uk/?loginonly

Website means our website: https://www.mymortgageprotectionexperts.co.uk/

You means the Advocate and/or Referee, as applicable.

1.2 Capitalised terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the MMPE Terms and Conditions as published on our webpage.

2. Scope of Application

2.1 The MMPE Referral Program allows an Advocate to introduce friends, family or acquaintances (‘Referee’) to MMPE.

2.2 By participating or attempting to participate in the Referral Program:

2.2.1 You accept and agree that You, as an Advocate or Referee, are bound by these Referral Terms; and

2.2.2 You acknowledge that You have read and understood the information concerning the MMPE Privacy Policy.

3. Advocate

3.1 MMPE offers a £50 Amazon Voucher on any new business completion to Advocates upon the completion of a successful referral. This means that the Referred Friend has made a successful application through MMPE that has been completed. The Referee must be a new client to MMP. This means that the Referrer will only receive the discount when a successful application from a customer who has never used the Referrer’s code before is placed.

3.2 There is no limit to the number of times the Advocate can repeat the referral process.

4. Referee

4.1 MMPE offers a £25 Amazon Voucher to each referee on completion of their first new business application.

4.2 A Referee can become an Advocate after the successful completion of their first new business application.

5. Use of the Discount Code

5.1 The Referral Code can only be redeemed/used to introduce a new Referred Friend (Referee) to MMPE.

5.2 MMPE will only honour reward vouchers where Referred Friend (Referee) have been introduced using the Referral Code.

5.3 The Referral Code cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

5.4 Vouchers will be offered in the UK and £ (GBP) only.

5.5 In no case may any of these Vouchers be exchanged for the monetary value of the Voucher.

5.6 When transacting business with MMPE with the Referral Scheme, the general Regulatory Commitments and Client Agreement will still apply

6. Terms of Validity

6.1 The referral scheme can be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of My Mortgage & Protection Experts Ltd.

6.2 Only 1 referee voucher can be redeemed per Referred Friend (Referee).

7. Privacy and Data protection

7.1 Any personal details provided in connection with the Referral Program will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is important that You carefully read and understand this information.

7.2 All data collected by Us will be used and processed exclusively within the framework of the current UK data protection laws and in accordance with Our data protection and privacy policies.

8. Right to termination

8.1 MMPE can terminate the Referral Program or a person’s ability to participate at any time for any reason and without notice.

8.2 MMPE reserves the right to suspend, or cancel the Reward Voucher, if we notice any activity, We believe fraudulent, improper, or unlawful or if We have reason to assume You are in breach of these Referral Terms.

8.3 MMPE reserves the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals as deemed fair and appropriate.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1 MMPE accepts no liability for loss, theft, destruction, or improper use of the Reward Voucher unless this is the result of negligence on the part of MMPE.

9.2 Without prejudice to the conditions of this agreement, MMPE’s liability towards You is limited to the amount of the Reward Voucher.

9.3 Nothing in this agreement serves to exclude or limit liability for:

9.3.1 death or personal injury due to negligence;

9.3.2 deliberate deception or fraud;

9.3.3 any other form of liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

10. Severability

10.1 In the event that any provision of these Referral Terms is declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. In such a case, the Parties shall endeavour in good faith to modify the invalid or unenforceable article or to agree on a new article that is valid and enforceable.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

11.1 MMPE reserves the right to, at all times, amend these Referral Terms by publishing an amended version on the MMPE website.

11.2 You are free to decide whether or not to accept a revised version of these Referral Terms. If You do not agree to any revised version of these Referral Terms, Your, sole recourse is to stop Your participation in the Referral Program.

11.3 Except as otherwise expressly stated by Us, participation in the Referral Program is subject to, and constitutes Your acceptance of, the version of these Referral Terms in effect at the time of Your participation in the Referral Program.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution

12.1 All business/applications concluded with MMPE shall be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and UK Law. Nothing in these terms and conditions, including this section 12, affects Your rights as a consumer to rely on mandatory provisions of local law

12.2 Any dispute between You and MMPE in relation to the agreement, including the understanding and the extent of these Terms and Conditions, will be resolved by UK Law.

      Equity Available

      With automatic property value updates and your Mortgage information loaded, this feature calculates the amount of equity and the maximum potential loan that may be available within a landlord’s portfolio. This will assist with seeing if there is the opportunity for to perhaps buy another property from leveraging your portfolio.

      Within sussed, you will also be able to see each of your properties with a roadside picture, a confirmed property value, monthly rental, current mortgage balance, payments, interest rate and the Loan to value/Gross rental yield.

      Sussed can help you manage your portfolio.

      Early Review

      This feature is there waiting for interest rates when they reduce. Using the same technology as Rate Riser, sussed will identify if your current deal is now able to be improved.

      Should the interest rates decrease, sussed will compare deals available on the day with your existing deal and flag if there is an opportunity for you to save money by switching.
